ಮೊಸಳೆಯನ್ನು ಗಾಳದಿಂದ ಎಳೆಯುವಿಯೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಅದರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅದುಮುತ್ತೀಯೋ?
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord [which] thou lettest down?
ಅದರ ಮೂಗಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಇಡುವಿಯೋ? ಅದರ ದವಡೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನಿಂದ ಚುಚ್ಚುವಿಯೋ?
Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಬಿನ್ನಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೃದು ವಾದ ಮಾತು ಆಡುವದೋ?
Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft [words] unto thee?
ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವದೋ? ಅದನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದಾಸನಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಯೋ?
Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
ಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆಡುವಿಯೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಹುಡುಗಿಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕುವಿಯೋ?
Wilt thou play with him as [with] a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
ಜತೆಯವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಔತಣ ಮಾಡುವರೋ? ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ವರ್ತಕ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲಿಡುವರೋ?
Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
ಅದರ ತೊಗಲನ್ನು ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳಿಂದ, ಅದರ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾನುಗಾರರ ಬಲೆ ಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವಿಯೋ?
Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಹಾಕು; ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿಕೋ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೇನೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ.
Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
ಇಗೋ, ಅದರ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ನಿರೀ ಕ್ಷೆಯು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದು. ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲಾ.
Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not [one] be cast down even at the sight of him?
ಅದನ್ನು ಕದಲಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಠಿಣನು ಇಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾರು ಶಕ್ತರು?
None [is so] fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
ನಾನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವನಾರು? ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇರುವಂಥದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನದೇ.
Who hath prevented me, that I should repay [him? whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine.
ನಾನು ಅದರ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ತ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಸನ್ನಾಹದ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನೂ ಮುಚ್ಚುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವವನಾರು? ಅದರ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿವಾಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಶಕ್ತರು?
Who can discover the face of his garment? [or] who can come [to him] with his double bridle?
ಅದರ ಮುಖದ ಕದ ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುವವನಾರು? ಅದರ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿವೆ.
Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth [are] terrible round about.
ಬಲವಾದ ಅದರ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳು ಅದರ ಗರ್ವವಾಗಿವೆ; ಬತ್ತಿದ ಮುದ್ರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಿಗಿದವೆ.
[His] scales [are his] pride, shut up together [as with] a close seal.
ಅವು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಹೊಂದಿ ಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಗಾಳಿಯಾದರೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅಂಟುತ್ತವೆ; ಹಿಡು ಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ;
They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
ಅದರ ಸೀನು ವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕು ಹುಟ್ಟುವದು; ಅದರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಉದಯದ ರೆಪ್ಪೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವೆ.
By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes [are] like the eyelids of the morning.
ಅದರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಉರಿಯುವ ದೀಪಗಳು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕಿಡಿಗಳು ಹಾರುತ್ತವೆ.
Out of his mouth go burning lamps, [and] sparks of fire leap out.
ಕುದಿಯುವ ಗಡಿಗೆಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದಲೂ ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಆದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಮೂಗಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊಗೆ ಹಾಯುವದು.
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as [out] of a seething pot or caldron.
ಅದರ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುವದು; ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಅದರ ಬಾಯಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡು ವದು.
His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
ಅದರ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವು ವಾಸಿಸುವದು; ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆ ದುಃಖವು ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಪ ಡುವದು.
In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
ಅದರ ಮಾಂಸದ ಖಂಡಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಅವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕದಲಲಾರವು.
The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
ಅದರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹೌದು, ಬೀಸುವ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether [millstone].
ಅದು ಏಳುವಾಗ ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮುರಿಯುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಾರೆ.
When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
ಅದರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅದರ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಾರದು; ಈಟಿಯೂ ಬಾಣವೂ ಕವಚವೂ ನಿಲ್ಲವು,
The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಹುಲ್ಲೆಂದೂ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯು ಕೊಳೆತ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ಅದು ಎಣಿಸುವದು.
He esteemeth iron as straw, [and] brass as rotten wood.
ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಲಾರದು, ಕವಣೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತವೆ.
The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
ಬಾಣಗಳು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಭರ್ಚಿ ಕದಲಿದರೆ ಅದು ನಗುವದು.
Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
ಅದರ ಅಡಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹದವಾದ ಹರಳುಗಳು ಅವೆ; ಕೆಸರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೂಪಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಹದವಾದ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಹರಡಿಸು ತ್ತದೆ.
Sharp stones [are] under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
ಆಳವಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಗಡಿಗೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುದಿಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ತೈಲದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಾದಿ ಬೆಳಗುವಂತೆ ಅದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಗಾಧವು ನರೆ ಕೂದಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವದೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He maketh a path to shine after him; [one] would think the deep [to be] hoary.
ಭೂಮಿ ಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು.ಉನ್ನತ ವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದು ನೋಡುವದು; ಗರ್ವದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದು ಅರಸನಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
ಉನ್ನತ ವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದು ನೋಡುವದು; ಗರ್ವದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದು ಅರಸನಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.
He beholdeth all high [things:] he [is] a king over all the children of pride.
