ಮರಗಳು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದವು.

8ಮರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇ ಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮರಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳು ಅಂದವು.
9ಇಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮರ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಘನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಆ ನನ್ನ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.
10ಮರಗಳು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದವು.
11ಆದರೆ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡವು ಅವುಗ ಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮಧುರವನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಫಲ ವನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.
12ಮರಗಳು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳು ಅಂದವು.
