ಆದರೆ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡವು ಅವುಗ ಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮಧುರವನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಫಲ ವನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.

- 12ಮರಗಳು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳು ಅಂದವು.
- 13ಆದರೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗಿಡವು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ--ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ರಸವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನೋ ಅಂದಿತು.
