ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸೌಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
Aa sevakanu avanige--ninna tammanu bandiddaane; ninna tandeyu avanannu surakshitavaagi saukhyadalli sveekarisiddarinda aa kobbida karuvannu koysiddaane andanu.

- 28ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
- 29ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇಷ್ಟು ವರುಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಯನ್ನು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ವಿಾರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀನ
