ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳಂಗಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು.

Yaavanaadaroo ninna sangada vyaajyavaadi ninna melangiyannu takkolla bekendiddare olangiyannoo kottubidu.

King James Version (KJV): And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have [thy] cloke also.

38ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ--ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನೂ ಹಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ತೆಗಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
39ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲ ಗೆನ್ನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆದರೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸು.
40ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಒಳಂಗಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು.
41ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಮೈಲು ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಮೈಲು ಹೋಗು.
42ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡು; ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಕಡಾ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವನಿಂದ ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
