2. 9ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ಅದು ಆಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಕೆಲಸ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳು ಬಲಹೀನವಾಗುವವು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
3. 10ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸು ಅಂದೆನು. ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಅಡಗಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮೆಹೇಟಬೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ದೆಲಾಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದೆನು. ಅವನುನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಂದಿರದ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚೊಣ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.
4. 11ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು--ನನ್ನಂಥಾ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವನೋ? ನನ್ನಂಥವನು ಬದುಕ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮಂದಿರದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವವನಾರು? ನಾನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದೆನು.
5. 12ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನೇ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ ಹೇಳಿದನೆಂದು ನಾನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲ ಟನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೂಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
