2. 23ശരീരത്തിൽ മാനം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നവെക്കു നാം അധികം മാനം അണിയിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മിൽ അഴകു കുറഞ്ഞവെക്കു അധികം അഴകു വരുത്തുന്നു;
3. 24നമ്മിൽ അഴകുള്ള അവയവങ്ങൾക്കു അതു ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.
4. 25ശരീരത്തിൽ ഭിന്നത വരാതെ അവയവങ്ങൾ അന്യോന്യം ഒരുപോലെ കരുതേണ്ടതിന്നായി ദൈവം കുറവുള്ളതിന്നു അധികം മാനം കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു ശരീരത്തെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
5. 26അതിനാൽ ഒരു അവയവം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവയവങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയുംകൂടെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു അവയവത്തിന്നു മാനം വന്നാൽ അവയവങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും കൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
