4. 29എന്നാൽ ആ പ്രദേശത്തിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ ദൈവം അബ്രാഹാമിനെ ഓർത്തു. ലോത്ത് പാർത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കു ഉന്മൂലനാശം വരുത്തുകയിൽ ലോത്തിനെ ആ ഉന്മൂലനാശത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.
5. 30അനന്തരം ലോത്ത് സോവർ വിട്ടുപോയി; അവനും അവന്റെ രണ്ടു പുത്രിമാരും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ചെന്നു പാർത്തു; സോവരിൽ പാർപ്പാൻ അവൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; അവനും അവന്റെ രണ്ടു പുത്രിമാരും ഒരു ഗുഹയിൽ പാർത്തു.
