ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്തിട്ടു മൂന്നു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവർ സമീപസ്ഥന്മാർ എന്നും തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ എന്നും അവർ കേട്ടു.

- 18സഭയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചില്ല; എന്നാൽ സഭമുഴുവനും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ നേരെ പിറുപിറുത്തു.
