When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour [were] locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.

3. 24അവൻ പുറത്തു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയശേഷം എഗ്ലോന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ വന്നു; അവർ നോക്കി മാളികയുടെ വാതിൽ പൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: അവൻ ഗ്രീഷ്മഗൃഹത്തിൽ വിസർജ്ജനത്തിന്നു ഇരിക്കയായിരിക്കും എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
4. 25അവർ കാത്തിരുന്നു വിഷമിച്ചു; അവൻ മുറിയുടെ വാതിൽ തുറക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ താക്കോൽ എടുത്തു തുറന്നു;
5. 26തമ്പുരാൻ നിലത്തു മരിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു. എന്നാൽ അവർ കാത്തിരുന്നതിന്നിടയിൽ ഏഹൂദ് ഓടിപ്പോയി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ കടന്നു സെയീരയിൽ ചെന്നുചേർന്നു.
