అతడు పోయి యెహోవా సెలవు చొప్పున యొర్దానునకు ఎదురుగానున్న కెరీతు వాగు దగ్గర నివాసము చేసెను.

3నీవు ఇచ్చటనుండి తూర్పువైపునకు పోయి యొర్దానునకు ఎదురుగానున్న కెరీతు వాగుదగ్గర దాగియుండుము;
4ఆ వాగు నీరు నీవు త్రాగుదువు, అచ్చటికి నీకు ఆహారము తెచ్చునట్లు నేను కాకోలములకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితినని అతనికి తెలియజేయగా
5అతడు పోయి యెహోవా సెలవు చొప్పున యొర్దానునకు ఎదురుగానున్న కెరీతు వాగు దగ్గర నివాసము చేసెను.
6అక్కడ కాకోలములు ఉదయ మందు రొట్టెను మాంసమును అస్తమయమందు రొట్టెను మాంసమును అతనియొద్దకు తీసికొనివచ్చుచుండెను; అతడు వాగు నీరు త్రాగుచు వచ్చెను.
7కొంతకాలమైనతరువాత దేశములో వర్షము లేక ఆ నీరు ఎండిపోయెను.
