3. 7కాగా ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు దేశపు పెద్దలనందరిని పిలువ నంపించిబెన్హదదునీ భార్యలను పిల్లలను వెండి బంగారములను పట్టుకొందునని వర్తమానము పంపగా నేను ఇయ్యనని చెప్పలేదు; ఆ మనుష్యుడు చేయ గోరుచున్న మోసము ఎట్టిదో అది మీరు తెలిసికొనుడనెను.
4. 8నీవతని మాట వినవద్దు, దానికి ఒప్పుకొనవద్దు అని ఆ పెద్దలును జనులందరును అతనితో చెప్పిరి,
5. 9గనుక అతడుమీరు రాజైన నా యేలిన వానితో తెలియజెప్పవలసినదేమనగానీవు మొదట నీ సేవకుడనైన నాకు ఇచ్చిపంపిన ఆజ్ఞను నేను తప్పక అనుసరింతును గాని, నీవిప్పుడు సెలవిచ్చిన దానిని నేను చేయలేనని బెన్హదదు దూతలతో చెప్పుడనెను. ఆ దూతలు పోయి బెన్హదదునొద్దకు వచ్చి ఆ ప్రత్యుత్తరము తెలియజేయగా
