అందుకు రాజుఈ పడుచువాడు ఎవని కుమా రుడో అడిగి తెలిసికొమ్మని అతనికి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

- 57దావీదు ఫిలిష్తీయుని చంపి తిరిగి వచ్చినప్పుడు అబ్నేరు అతని పిలుచుకొనిపోయి ఫిలిష్తీయుని తల చేతనుండగా అతని సౌలు దగ్గరకు తోడుకొనివచ్చెను.
- 58సౌలు అతనిని చూచిచిన్నవాడా, నీవెవని కుమారుడవని అడుగగాదావీదునేను బేత్లెహేమీయుడైన యెష్షయి అను నీ దాసుని కుమారుడనని ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను.
