సమూయేలు మృతినొందగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు కూడుకొని అతడు చనిపోయెనని ప్రలాపించుచు, రామా లోనున్న అతని ఇంటి నివేశనములో అతని సమాధిచేసిన తరువాత దావీదు లేచి పారాను అరణ్యమునకు వెళ్ళెను.
