అతడు చూచుచుండగా జనులు బయలు దేవతల బలిపీఠములను పడగొట్టి, వాటిపైన ఉన్న సూర్య దేవతల విగ్రహములను అతని ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున నరికివేసి, దేవతా స్తంభములను చెక్కిన విగ్రహములను పోత విగ్రహములను తుత్తునియలుగా కొట్టి చూర్ణముచేసి, వాటికి బలులు అర్పించినవారి సమాధులమీద చల్లి వేసిరి.

Atadu choochuchundagaa janulu bayalu devatala balipeethamulanu padagotti, vaatipaina unna soorya devatala vigrahamulanu atani aajnyachoppuna narikivesi, devataa stambhamulanu chekkina vigrahamulanu pota vigrahamulanu tuttuniyalugaa kotti choornamuchesi, vaatiki balulu arpinchinavaari samaadhulameeda challi vesiri.

King James Version (KJV): And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that [were] on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust [of them], and strowed [it] upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
World English Bible (WEB): They broke down the altars of the Baals in his presence; and he cut down the incense altars that were on high above them. He broke the Asherah poles, the engraved images, and the molten images in pieces, made dust of them, and scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.

6ఆ ప్రకారము అతడు మనష్షే ఎఫ్రాయిము షిమ్యోను దేశములవారి పట్టణములలోను, నఫ్తాలి మన్యమునందును, చుట్టుపట్లనున్న పాడుస్థలములన్నిటను బలిపీఠములను పడ గొట్టెను.
