Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he [was] yet alive in the midst of the oak.

4. 15తన ఆయుధములను మోయువారు పదిమంది చుట్టు చుట్టుకొని యుండగా అబ్షాలోమును కొట్టి చంపెను.
5. 16అప్పుడు జనులను ఇక హతము చేయక విడువవలసినదని యోవాబు బాకా ఊదింపగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను తరుముకొని పోయిన జనులు తిరిగి వచ్చిరి.
