King James Version (KJV): Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

23చెరసాల బహు భద్రముగా మూసియుండుటయు, కావలివారు తలుపుల ముందర నిలిచియుండుటయు చూచితివిు గాని తలుపులు తీసినప్పుడు లోపల మాకొకడైనను కనబడలేదని వారికి తెలిపిరి.
24అంతట దేవాలయపు అధిపతియు ప్రధాన యాజకులును ఆ మాటలు వినిఇది యేమవునో అని వారి విషయమై యెటుతోచక యుండిరి.

26అధిపతి బంట్రౌతులతో కూడ పోయి, ప్రజలు రాళ్లతో కొట్టుదురేమో అని భయపడి, బలాత్కారము చేయకయే వారిని తీసికొని వచ్చెను.
27వారిని తీసికొని వచ్చి సభలో నిలువబెట్టగా
