17అయితే దేవుడు అబ్రాహామునకు అనుగ్రహించిన వాగ్దాన కాలము సమీపించినకొలది ప్రజలు ఐగుప్తులో విస్తారముగా వృద్ధి పొందిరి. తుదకు యోసేపును ఎరుగని వేరొకరాజు ఐగుప్తును ఏలనారంభించెను.

19తమ శిశువులు బ్రదుకకుండ వారిని బయట పారవేయవలెనని మన పితరులను బాధ పెట్టెను.
20ఆ కాలమందు మోషే పుట్టెను. అతడు దివ్యసుందరుడై తన తండ్రి యింట మూడు నెలలు పెంచ బడెను.
