1. 23ఎట్లనగా నీవును నీ యధిపతులును నీ రాణులును నీ ఉపపత్నులును దేవుని ఆలయసంబంధమగు ఉపకరణములలో ద్రాక్షారసము పోసి త్రాగవలెనని వాటిని తెచ్చియుంచు కొని వాటితో త్రాగుచు, చూడనైనను విననైనను గ్రహింపనైనను చేతకాని వెండి బంగారు ఇత్తడి ఇనుము కఱ్ఱ రాయి అను వాటితో చేయబడిన దేవతలను స్తుతించితిరి గాని, నీ ప్రాణమును నీ సకల మార్గములును ఏ దేవుని వశమున ఉన్నవో ఆయనను నీవు ఘనపరచలేదు.
2. 24కావున ఆయన యెదుటనుండి ఈ యరచేయి వచ్చి ఈ వ్రాతను వ్రాసెను; వ్రాసిన శాసనమేదనగా, మెనే మెనే టెకేల్‌ ఉఫార్సీన్‌.
3. 25ఈ వాక్యభావమేమనగా, మినే అనగా దేవుడు నీ ప్రభుత్వవిషయములో లెక్కచూచి దాని ముగించెను.
4. 26టెకేల్‌ అనగా ఆయన నిన్ను త్రాసులో తూచగా నీవు తక్కువగా కనబడితివి.
5. 27ఫెరేన్‌ అనగా నీ రాజ్యము నీయొద్దనుండి విభాగింపబడి మాదీయులకును పారసీకులకును ఇయ్యబడును.
