కాగా యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఏదనగా నేను యెహోవానని దీనిబట్టి నీవు తెలిసి కొందువని యెహోవా చెప్పుచున్నాడు. ఇదిగో నా చేతిలోనున్న యీ కఱ్ఱతో నేను ఏటి నీటిని కొట్టుదును అది రక్తముగా మార్చబడును.

- 18ఏటిలోని చేపలు చచ్చును, ఏరు కంపుకొట్టును, ఏటి నీళ్లు త్రాగుటకు ఐగుప్తీయులు అసహ్యపడుదురని చెప్పుమనెను.
- 19మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను - నీవు అహరోనుతో నీకఱ్ఱను పట్టుకొని ఐగుప్తు జలములమీద, అనగా వారి నదులమీదను వారి కాలువలమీదను, వారి చెరువుల మీదను, వారి నీటిగుంటలన్నిటి మీదను నీ చెయ్యి చాపుము; అవి రక్తమగును; ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను మ్రానుపాత్రలలోను రాతిపాత్రలలోను రక్తము ఉండునని అతనితో చెప్పుమనెను.
