ఇదిగో నీ కుమారుడైన యోసేపు నీ యొద్దకు వచ్చుచున్నాడని యాకోబునకు తెలుపబడెను. అంతట ఇశ్రాయేలు బలము తెచ్చుకొని తన మంచము మీద కూర్చుండెను.

- 4ఇదిగో నీకు సంతానాభివృద్ధి పొందించి నిన్ను విస్తరింపచేసి నీవు జనముల సమూహమగునట్లు చేసి, నీ తరువాత నీ సంతానమునకు ఈ దేశమును నిత్యస్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చెదనని సెలవిచ్చెను.
