- 9ఈ పట్టణములో నిలుచువారు కత్తివలన గాని క్షామమువలనగాని తెగులువలనగాని చచ్చెదరు, మేలుచేయుటకుకాదు కీడుచేయుటకే నేను ఈ పట్టణమునకు అభిముఖుడనైతిని గనుక బయటకు వెళ్లి మిమ్మును ముట్టడి వేయుచున్న కల్దీయులకు లోబడువారు బ్రదుకుదురు; దోపుడుసొమ్ము దక్కినట్లుగా వారి ప్రాణము వారికి దక్కును.
- 10ఈ పట్టణము బబులోను రాజుచేతికి అప్పగింపబడును, అతడు అగ్నిచేత దాని కాల్చివేయును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.
