- 8అయితే వారిలో పదిమంది మనుష్యులు ఇష్మాయేలుతో పొలములలో దాచబడిన గోధుమలు యవలు తైలము తేనె మొదలైన ద్రవ్యములు మాకు కలవు, మమ్మును చంపకుమని చెప్పుకొనగా అతడు వారి సహోదరులతో కూడ వారిని చంపక మానెను.
- 9ఇష్మాయేలు గెదల్యాతోకూడ చంపిన మనుష్యుల శవములన్నిటిని పడవేసిన గోయి రాజైన ఆసా ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన బయషాకు భయపడి త్రవ్వించిన గొయ్యియే; నెతన్యా కుమారుడైన ఇష్మాయేలు చంపబడినవారి శవములతో దాని నింపెను.
