వారు నజరేయుడైన యేసునని ఆయనకు ఉత్తరమియ్యగా యేసు ఆయనను నేనే అని వారితో చెప్పెను; ఆయనను అప్పగించిన యూదాయు వారియొద్ద నిలుచుండెను.

3కావున యూదా సైనికులను, ప్రధానయాజకులు పరిసయ్యులు పంపిన బంట్రౌతులను వెంటబెట్టుకొని, దివిటీలతోను దీపములతోను ఆయుధముల తోను అక్కడికివచ్చెను.
4యేసు తనకు సంభవింపబోవున వన్నియు ఎరిగినవాడై వారియొద్దకు వెళ్లి - మీరెవని వెదకుచున్నారని వారిని అడిగెను.
5వారు నజరేయుడైన యేసునని ఆయనకు ఉత్తరమియ్యగా యేసు ఆయనను నేనే అని వారితో చెప్పెను; ఆయనను అప్పగించిన యూదాయు వారియొద్ద నిలుచుండెను.
6ఆయన నేనే ఆయననని వారితో చెప్పగా వారు వెనుకకు తగ్గి నేలమీద పడిరి.
7మరల ఆయన - మీరు ఎవనిని వెదకుచున్నారని వారిని అడిగెను. అందుకు వారు - నజరేయుడైన యేసునని చెప్పగా
