5వారు నజరేయుడైన యేసునని ఆయనకు ఉత్తరమియ్యగా యేసు ఆయనను నేనే అని వారితో చెప్పెను; ఆయనను అప్పగించిన యూదాయు వారియొద్ద నిలుచుండెను.
6ఆయన నేనే ఆయననని వారితో చెప్పగా వారు వెనుకకు తగ్గి నేలమీద పడిరి.
7మరల ఆయన - మీరు ఎవనిని వెదకుచున్నారని వారిని అడిగెను. అందుకు వారు - నజరేయుడైన యేసునని చెప్పగా
8యేసు వారితో - నేనే ఆయనని మీతో చెప్పితిని గనుక మీరు నన్ను వెదకుచున్నయెడల వీరిని పోనియ్యుడని చెప్పెను.
9నీవు నాకు అనుగ్రహించిన వారిలో ఒకనినైనను నేను పోగొట్టుకొనలేదని ఆయన చెప్పిన మాట నెరవేరునట్లు ఈలాగు చెప్పెను.
