24బీటిలోను పొలములోను హాయి నివాసులను తరిమిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారిని చంపుట చాలింపగా, కత్తివాత కూలక మిగిలినవాడొకడును లేకపోయినప్పుడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులందరు హాయియొద్దకు తిరిగివచ్చి దానిని కత్తి వాతను నిర్మూలము చేసిరి.
25ఆ దినమున పడిన స్త్రీ పురుషు లందరు పండ్రెండు వేలమంది.
26యెహోషువ హాయి నివాసులనందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయువరకు ఈటెను పట్టు కొని చాచిన తన చేతిని తిరిగి ముడుచుకొనలేదు.
27యెహోవా యెహోషువకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన మాటచొప్పున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఆ పట్టణములోని పశువులను సొమ్మును తమకొరకు కొల్లగా దోచుకొనిరి.
