4. 13గిద్యోను వచ్చినప్పుడు ఒకడు తాను కనిన కలను తన చెలికానికి వివరించుచుండెను. ఎట్లనగానేనొక కలగంటిని, అదే మనగా యవలరొట్టె ఒకటి మిద్యానీయుల దండులోనికి దొర్లి యొక గుడారమునకు వచ్చి దాని పడగొట్టి తల క్రిందు చేసినప్పుడు ఆ గుడారము పడిపోయెనని చెప్పెను.
5. 14అందుకు వాని చెలికాడు అది ఇశ్రాయేలీయు డైన యోవాషు కుమారుడగు గిద్యోను ఖడ్గమేగాని మరేమికాదు; దేవుడు మిద్యానీయులను ఈ దండంతను అతని చేతికి అప్పగింప బోవుచున్నాడని ఉత్తరమిచ్చెను.
