37గాలుచూడుము, దేశపు ఎత్తయినప్థల మునుండి జనులు దిగి వచ్చుచున్నారు; ఒక దండు శకునగాండ్ల మస్తకివృక్షపు త్రోవను వచ్చు చున్నదనెను.
38జెబులు అతనితో ఆహాహా మనము అతని సేవింపవలసినందుకు అబీమెలెకు ఎవడనిన నీమాట యేమా యెను? ఇది నీవు తృణీకరించిన జనము కాదా? పోయి వారితో యుద్ధము చేయుడనగా

40అబీమెలెకు అతని తరుమగా అతడు అతని యెదుట నిలువలేక పారిపోయెను. అనేకులు గాయపడి పట్టణపు గవిని ప్రవేశించు చోట పడిరి.
41అప్పుడు అబీ మెలెకు అరూమాలో దిగెను, గాలును అతని బంధువులును షెకెములో నివసింపకుండ జెబులు వారిని తోలివేసెను.
