1. 5యేసుమీ హృదయకాఠిన్యమును బట్టి అతడీ ఆజ్ఞను మీకు వ్రాసి యిచ్చెను గాని
2. 6సృష్ట్యాదినుండి (దేవుడు) వారిని పురు షునిగాను స్త్రీనిగాను కలుగ జేసెను.
3. 7ఈ హేతువుచేత పురుషుడు తన తలిదండ్రులను విడిచి పెట్టి తన భార్యను హత్తుకొనును;
4. 8వారిద్దరు ఏకశరీరమై యుందురు, గనుక వారిక ఇద్దరుగా నుండక యేకశరీరముగా నుందురు.
5. 9కాబట్టి దేవుడు జతపరచిన వారిని మనుష్యుడు వేరుపరచ కూడదని వారితో చెప్పెను.
