అందుకు శిష్యులు, యేసు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు వారితో చెప్పగా వారు పోనిచ్చిరి.

4వారు వెళ్లగా వీధిలో ఇంటి బయట తలవాకిట కట్టబడియున్న గాడిద పిల్ల యొకటి వారికి కనబడెను; దానిని విప్పుచుండగా,
5అక్కడ నిలిచియున్న వారిలో కొందరు మీరేమి చేయుచున్నారు? గాడిద పిల్లను ఎందుకు విప్పుచున్నారని వారినడిగిరి.
6అందుకు శిష్యులు, యేసు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు వారితో చెప్పగా వారు పోనిచ్చిరి.
7వారు ఆ గాడిదపిల్లను యేసునొద్దకు తోలుకొని వచ్చి, తమ బట్టలు దానిపై వేయగా ఆయన దానిమీద కూర్చుం డెను.
8అనేకులు తమ బట్టలను దారి పొడుగునను పరచిరి, కొందరు తాము పొలములలో నరికిన కొమ్మలను పరచిరి.
