గనుక రెండవవాడు ఆమెను పెండ్లి చేసికొనెను, వాడును సంతా నము లేక చనిపోయెను; అటువలెనే మూడవవాడును చనిపోయెను.

19బోధకుడా, తనభార్య బ్రదికియుండగా ఒకడు పిల్లలు లేక చనిపోయినయెడల వాని సహోదరుడు వాని భార్యను పెండ్లిచేసికొని తన సహోదరునికి సంతా నము కలుగజేయవలెనని మోషే మాకు వ్రాసియిచ్చెను.
20ఏడుగురు సహోదరులుండిరి. మొదటివాడు ఒక స్త్రీని పెండ్లిచేసికొని సంతానములేక చనిపోయెను
21గనుక రెండవవాడు ఆమెను పెండ్లి చేసికొనెను, వాడును సంతా నము లేక చనిపోయెను; అటువలెనే మూడవవాడును చనిపోయెను.
22ఇట్లు ఏడుగురును సంతానములేకయే చని పోయిరి. అందరివెనుక ఆ స్త్రీయు చనిపోయెను.
23పునరుత్థానమందు వారిలో ఎవనికి ఆమె భార్యగా ఉండును? ఆమె ఆ యేడుగురికిని భార్య ఆయెను గదా అని అడిగిరి.
