12కాబట్టి వారు పెద్దలతో కూడి వచ్చి ఆలోచనచేసి ఆ సైనికులకు చాల ద్రవ్యమిచ్చి
13మేము నిద్రపోవుచుండగా అతని శిష్యులు రాత్రి వేళవచ్చి అతనిని ఎత్తికొనిపోయిరని మీరు చెప్పుడి;
14ఇది అధిపతి చెవిని బడినయెడల మేమతని సమ్మతిపరచి మీకేమియు తొందరకలుగకుండ చేతుమని చెప్పిరి.
15అప్పుడు వారు ఆ ద్రవ్యము తీసికొని తమకు బోధింపబడినప్రకారము చేసిరి. ఈ మాట యూదులలో వ్యాపించి నేటివరకు ప్రసిద్ధమైయున్నది.
