ఎవడును తరుమకుండనే దుష్టుడు పారిపోవును నీతిమంతులు సింహమువలె ధైర్యముగా నుందురు.
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
దేశస్థుల దోషమువలన దాని అధికారులు అనేకు లగుదురు బుద్ధిజ్ఞానములు గలవారిచేత దాని అధికారము స్థిరపరచబడును.
For the transgression of a land many [are] the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding [and] knowledge the state [thereof] shall be prolonged.
బీదలను బాధించు దరిద్రుడు ఆహారవస్తువులను ఉండనియ్యక కొట్టుకొనిపోవు వానతో సమానుడు.
A poor man that oppresseth the poor [is like] a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
ధర్మశాస్త్రమును త్రోసివేయువారు దుష్టులను పొగడు చుందురు ధర్మశాస్త్రము ననుసరించువారు వారితో పోరాడుదురు.
They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
దుష్టులు న్యాయమెట్టిదైనది గ్రహింపరు యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయించువారు సమస్తమును గ్రహించుదురు.
Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all [things].
వంచకుడై ధనము సంపాదించినవానికంటె యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించు దరిద్రుడు వాసి.
Better [is] the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than [he that is] perverse [in his] ways, though he [be] rich.
ఉపదేశము నంగీకరించు కుమారుడు బుద్ధిగలవాడు తుంటరుల సహవాసము చేయువాడు తన తండ్రికి అపకీర్తి తెచ్చును.
Whoso keepeth the law [is] a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous [men] shameth his father.
వడ్డిచేతను దుర్లాభముచేతను ఆస్తి పెంచుకొనువాడు దరిద్రులను కరుణించువానికొరకు దాని కూడబెట్టును.
He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
ధర్మశాస్త్రమువినబడకుండ చెవిని తొలగించుకొనువాని ప్రార్థన హేయము.
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
యథార్థవంతులను దుర్మార్గమందు చొప్పించువాడు తాను త్రవ్విన గోతిలో తానే పడును యథార్థవంతులు మేలైనదానిని స్వతంత్రించుకొందురు.
Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good [things] in possession.
ఐశ్వర్యవంతుడు తన దృష్టికి తానే జ్ఞాని వివేకముగల దరిద్రుడు వానిని పరిశోధించును.
The rich man [is] wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
నీతిమంతులకు జయము కలుగుట మహాఘనతకు కారణము దుష్టులు గొప్పవారగునప్పుడు జనులు దాగియుం దురు.
When righteous [men] do rejoice, [there is] great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
అతిక్రమములను దాచిపెట్టువాడు వర్ధిల్లడు వాటిని ఒప్పుకొని విడిచిపెట్టువాడు కనికరము పొందును.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.
నిత్యము భయముగలిగి ప్రవర్తించువాడు ధన్యుడు హృదయమును కఠినపరచుకొనువాడు కీడులో పడును.
Happy [is] the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
బొబ్బరించు సింహమును తిరుగులాడు ఎలుగుబంటియు దరిద్రులైన జనుల నేలు దుష్టుడును సమానములు.
[As] a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; [so is] a wicked ruler over the poor people.
వివేకములేనివాడవై జనులను అధికముగా బాధపెట్టు అధికారీ, దుర్లాభమును ద్వేషించువాడు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడగును.
The prince that wanteth understanding [is] also a great oppressor: [but] he that hateth covetousness shall prolong [his] days.
ప్రాణము తీసి దోషము కట్టుకొనినవాడు గోతికి పరుగెత్తుచున్నాడు ఎవరును అట్టివానిని ఆపకూడదు.
A man that doeth violence to the blood of [any] person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు రక్షింపబడును మూర్ఖప్రవర్తన గలవాడు హఠాత్తుగా పడిపోవును.
Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but [he that is] perverse [in his] ways shall fall at once.
తన పొలము సేద్యము చేసికొనువానికి కడుపునిండన్నము దొరకును వ్యర్థమైనవాటిని అనుసరించువారికి కలుగు పేదరికము ఇంతంతకాదు.
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain [persons] shall have poverty enough.
నమ్మకమైనవానికి దీవెనలు మెండుగా కలుగును. ధనవంతుడగుటకు ఆతురపడువాడు శిక్షనొందకపోడు.
A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
పక్షపాతము చూపుట మంచిది కాదు రొట్టెముక్కకొరకు ఒకడు దోషముచేయును.
To have respect of persons [is] not good: for for a piece of bread [that] man will transgress.
చెడు దృష్టిగలవాడు ఆస్తి సంపాదింప ఆతురపడును తనకు దరిద్రత వచ్చునని వానికి తెలియదు.
He that hasteth to be rich [hath] an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
నాలుకతో ఇచ్చకములాడు వానికంటె నరులను గద్దించువాడు తుదకు ఎక్కువ దయపొందును.
He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
తన తలిదండ్రుల సొమ్ము దోచుకొని అది ద్రోహముకాదనుకొనువాడు నశింపజేయువానికి జతకాడు.
Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, [It is] no transgression; the same [is] the companion of a destroyer.
పేరాసగలవాడు కలహమును రేపును యెహోవాయందు నమ్మకముంచువాడు వర్ధిల్లును.
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
తన మనస్సును నమ్ముకొనువాడు బుద్ధిహీనుడు జ్ఞానముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు తప్పించుకొనును.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
బీదలకిచ్చువానికి లేమి కలుగదు కన్నులు మూసికొనువానికి బహు శాపములు కలుగును.
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
దుష్టులు గొప్పవారగునప్పుడు జనులు దాగుకొందురు వారు నశించునప్పుడు నీతిమంతులు ఎక్కువగుదురు.
When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
