King James Version (KJV): Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, Rise thou, and fall upon us: for as the man [is, so is] his strength. And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that [were] on their camels’ necks.

22तब इस्राएल के पुरूषों ने गिदोन से कहा, तू हमारे ऊपर प्रभुता कर, तू और तेरा पुत्रा और पोता भी प्रभुता करे; क्योंकि तू ने हम को मिद्यान के हाथ से छुड़ाया है।
23गिदोन ने उन से कहा, मैं तुम्हारे ऊपर प्रभुता न करूंगा, और न मेरा पुत्रा तुम्हारे ऊपर प्रभुता करेगा; यहोवा ही तुम पर प्रभुता करेगा।
