3. 23ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರೌದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಗೊಮೋರ ಅದ್ಮಾಚೆಬೋ ಯಾಮ್‌ ಇವುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಂಧಕವೂ ಉಪ್ಪೂ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಿತ್ತಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಮೊಳೆಯದೆ ಯಾವ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನಾದರೂ ಬೆಳೆಸದೆ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--
4. 24ಯಾಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಈ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೊಪಾಗ್ನಿ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳುವರು.
5. 25ಆಗ ಜನರು--ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತರುವಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು,
