ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do [them], that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅದರಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವಂಥ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
ಬಾಳ್ಪೆಯೋರನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾಡಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದವು; ಬಾಳ್ಪೆ ಯೋರನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದನಲ್ಲವೇ?
Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baal-peor: for all the men that followed Baal-peor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.
ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡವರಾದ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಇಂದು ಬದುಕುತ್ತೀರಿ.
But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God [are] alive every one of you this day.
ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
ಹೀಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಇದೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿ--ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಜನವಾಗಿದೆ ಅನ್ನುವರು.
Keep therefore and do [them;] for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people.
ನಾವು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆ ಯಿಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೇರೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾದ ದೇವರುಳ್ಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗ ಯಾವದು?
For what nation [is there so] great, who [hath] God [so] nigh unto them, as the LORD our God [is] in all [things that] we call upon him [for]?
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುವ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ನಿಯಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗ ಯಾವದು?
And what nation [is there so] great, that hath statutes and judgments [so] righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ಮರೆಯದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಬದುಕುವ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಹು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಬೋಧಿಸು.
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;
ನೀನು ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತ ದಿವಸ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೇ? ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಜನರನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು; ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬದುಕುವ ದಿವಸಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಿ ರುವದನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಡು ವೆನು ಅಂದನು
[Specially] the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and [that] they may teach their children.
ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಿಂತಿರಿ; ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಾ ಗಿದ್ದು ಮೇಘಗಳೂ ಗಾಢಾಂಧಕಾರವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಆಕಾಶ ಮಧ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಉರಿಯು ತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.
ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು; ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ಆಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿದಿರಿ.
And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only [ye heard] a voice.
ಆತನು ಹತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳೆಂಬ ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಹಲಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆದನು.
And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, [even] ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
ನೀವು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ನಿಯಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯಾವ ತರವಾದ ಆಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಲಿ ಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ.
Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day [that] the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಗಂಡು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣಿನ ಆಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ವಿಧವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಯನ್ನೂ
Lest ye corrupt [yourselves], and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಯಾವದೊಂದು ಮೃಗದ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರುವಂಥ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಯಾವದೊಂದು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವಂಥ ಯಾವ ದೊಂದರ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ
The likeness of any beast that [is] on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ನೀರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾವದೊಂದು ವಿಾನಿನ ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ
The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that [is] in the waters beneath the earth:
ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಚಂದ್ರ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಆಕಾಶ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡದಂತೆಯೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಕರ್ತನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನೀವು ಈ ದಿನ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾದ ಜನವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, [even] out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as [ye are] this day.
ನಾನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದನು.
Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance:
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗ ತಕ್ಕದ್ದಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಯಾವ ರೂಪದ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, [or] the likeness of any [thing], which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯೂ ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For the LORD thy God [is] a consuming fire, [even] a jealous God.
ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ಬಹುಕಾಲ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯಾವದಾದರ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರೆ
When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt [yourselves], and make a graven image, [or] the likeness of any [thing], and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
ನಾನು ಈ ದಿನ ಆಕಾಶ ವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬೇಗನೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಬಹು ದಿವಸ ಇರದೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ನಶಿಸುವಿರಿ.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong [your] days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುವನು; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವಿರಿ.
And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಾದ ಅಂದರೆ ನೋಡದೆಯೂ ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ ಉಣ್ಣದೆಯೂ ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡದೆಯೂ ಇರುವಂಥ ಮರ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಾದ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವಿರಿ.
And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೆ, ಆತ ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find [him], if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
ನೀನು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕಡೇ ದಿವಸ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು
When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
ಆತನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾದರೆ (ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೇ;) ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
(For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಪೂರ್ವದ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ದಂದಿನಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಆಕಾಶದ ಈ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಇದರಂತೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೇ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇದರಂತೆ ಕೇಳ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೇ?
For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and [ask] from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been [any such thing] as this great thing [is], or hath been heard like it?
ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ದೇವರ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬದುಕಿದ ಜನರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ?
Did [ever] people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?
ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಒಂದು ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಜನಾಂಗದ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಶೋಧನೆಗಳು ಗುರುತುಗಳು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳು ಇವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಮಹಾಭೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದನೋ?
Or hath God assayed to go [and] take him a nation from the midst of [another] nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
ಕರ್ತನೇ ದೇವರೆಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಆತನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಲ್ಲ.
Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he [is] God; [there is] none else beside him.
ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೇಳ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾಅಗ್ನಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು; ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಿ.
Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಆದು ಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಬಲ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ದನು.
And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
ನಿನಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾದ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ವಾದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಓಡಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಈ ದಿನ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಅವರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou [art], to bring thee in, to give thee their land [for] an inheritance, as [it is] this day.
ಹೀಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನೇ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಕೋ.
Know therefore this day, and consider [it] in thine heart, that the LORD he [is] God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: [there is] none else.
ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸವಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆತನ ನಿಯಮ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong [thy] days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮೂರು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;
ತಿಳಿಯದೆ, ಮುಂಚೆ ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರದೆ, ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಬದುಕುವನು.
That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:
ಅವು ಯಾವವಂದರೆ--ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಬೇಚೆರ್‌, ಗಾದನವರಿಗೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಾಮೋತ್‌, ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗೋಲಾನ್‌.
[Namely], Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, of the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites.
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಇದೇ--
And this [is] the law which Moses set before the children of Israel:
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮೇಲೆ
These [are] the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,
ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತ್‌ಪೇಯೋರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನುಡಿದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ನಿಯಮಗಳೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳೂ ಇವೇ. ಆ ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆದರು.
On this side Jordan, in the valley over against Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:
ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಬಾಷಾ ನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅರಸರ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೂ
And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which [were] on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;
ಅರ್ನೋನ್‌ ನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರೋ ಯೇರ್‌ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆರ್ಮೋನೆಂಬ ಸೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತದ ವರೆಗೆಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪಿಸ್ಗಾದ ಊಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೈಲಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
From Aroer, which [is] by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which [is] Hermon,
ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪಿಸ್ಗಾದ ಊಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೈಲಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
