ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಚಂದ್ರ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಆಕಾಶ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡದಂತೆಯೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

King James Version (KJV): And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

20ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಕರ್ತನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನೀವು ಈ ದಿನ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾದ ಜನವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
21ನಾನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದನು.
