1. 26ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನಿಂದ ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಏಳುನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
2. 27ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನ ದಿನ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಅರುವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
3. 28ಲೆಮೆಕನು ನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷದವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
4. 29ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೋಹ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದು--ಕರ್ತನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕೈಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
