ಆದಾಮನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ಇದೇ. ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದನು.
This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆದಾಮ ನೆಂದು ಕರೆದನು (ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು).
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
ಆದಾಮನಿಗೆ ನೂರಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷವಾದಾಗ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೇತನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
ಸೇತನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರು ವರುಷಗಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
ಆದಾಮನು ಬದುಕಿದ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
ಸೇತನು ನೂರ ಐದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಎನೋಷನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
ಸೇತನಿಂದ ಎನೋಷನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರಏಳುವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಸೇತನು ಬದುಕಿದ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
ಎನೋ ಷನು ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಕೇನಾನನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
ಎನೋಷನಿಂದ ಕೇನಾ ನನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವ ನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಎನೋಷನ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಐದು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
ಕೇನಾನನು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
ಕೇನಾನನಿಂದ ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಕೇನಾನನ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಅರುವತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಯೆರೆದನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ದನು.
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
ಮಹಲಲೇಲನಿಂದ ಯೆರೆದನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾ ರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಮಹಲಲೇಲನ ದಿನಗ ಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂಟುನೂರ ತೊಂಭತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
ಯೆರೆ ದನು ನೂರ ಅರುವತ್ತೆರೆಡು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಹನೋಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
ಯೆರೆದನಿಂದ ಹನೋಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಎಂಟುನೂರು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾ ರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಯೆರೆದನ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಅರುವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
ಹನೋಕನು ಅರುವತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
ಹನೋ ಕನಿಂದ ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಮುನ್ನೂರು ವರುಷ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದನು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಹನೋಕನ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಅರುವತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹನೋಕನನ್ನು ಆತನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಕಾಣದೆಹೋದನು.
And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.
ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತೇಳು ವರುಷದ ವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನಿಂದ ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಏಳುನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನ ದಿನ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಅರುವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
ಲೆಮೆಕನು ನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷದವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೋಹ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದು--ಕರ್ತನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕೈಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And he called his name Noah, saying, This [same] shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
ಲೆಮೆಕನಿಂದ ನೋಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳು ಐನೂರ ತೊಂಭತೈದು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವನಿಂದ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
ಲೆಮೆಕನ ದಿನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟು ಏಳುನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳು ವರುಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.ನೋಹನು ಐನೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ನೋಹನಿಂದ ಶೇಮ್‌ ಹಾಮ್‌ ಯೆಫೆತ್‌ ಎಂಬವರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
ನೋಹನು ಐನೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ನೋಹನಿಂದ ಶೇಮ್‌ ಹಾಮ್‌ ಯೆಫೆತ್‌ ಎಂಬವರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
