3. 9ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನೊ ಡೆಯನೇ, ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ಪ್ರವಾ ದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವನು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ;
4. 10ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಕೂಷ್ಯನಾದ ಎಬೆದ್ಮೆಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎತ್ತೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
5. 11ಆಗ ಎಬೆದ್ಮೆಲೆಕನು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಖಜಾನೆ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹರಿದು ಹೋದ ಹಳೇ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸವೆದು ಹೋದ ಹಳೇ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಗ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದನು.
