4. 7ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಗೂ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೈಗೂ ಮಾರಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5. 8ಆ ವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡ ಅವರು ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವರುಷ ಯೊರ್ದನಿಗೆ ಆಚೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ಕುಂದಿಸಿದರು.
