1. 4ಅವನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲ ದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ--ನಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
2. 5ಅದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಈ ವಿಧವೆಯು ನನಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಣಿಸದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
3. 6ಕರ್ತನು--ಈ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರನಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿ ಪತಿಯು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
4. 7ದೇವರಾದು ಕೊಂಡವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಗಲು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡು ವಾಗ ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ತಡಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವನೇ?
5. 8ಆತನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವನೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವನೋ ಅಂದನು.
