പിന്നെ റിബെക്കാ വീട്ടിൽ തന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉള്ളതായ മൂത്തമകൻ ഏശാവിന്റെ വിശേഷവസ്ത്രം എടുത്തു ഇളയമകൻ യാക്കോബിനെ ധരിപ്പിച്ചു.

14അവൻ ചെന്നു പിടിച്ചു അമ്മയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അമ്മ അവന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ഇഷ്ടവും രുചികരവുമായ ഭോജനം ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

17താൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ രുചികരമായ ഭോജനവും അപ്പവും തന്റെ മകനായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തു.
