దావీదు ఎదోము దేశముమీద యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా, సైన్యాధిపతియైన యోవాబు చంపబడిన వారిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు వెళ్లి యున్నప్పుడు ఎదోము దేశమందున్న మగవారినందరిని హతము చేసెను.
