4. 10కలహమెక్కు వైనప్పుడు వారు పౌలును చీల్చివేయుదురేమో అని సహస్రాధిపతి భయపడి మీరు వెళ్లి వారి మధ్యనుండి అతనిని బలవంతముగా పట్టుకొని కోటలోనికి తీసికొని రండని సైనికులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.
5. 11ఆ రాత్రి ప్రభువు అతనియొద్ద నిలుచుండి ధైర్యముగా ఉండుము, యెరూషలేములో నన్నుగూర్చి నీవేలాగు సాక్ష్యమిచ్చితివో ఆలాగున రోమాలోకూడ సాక్ష్య మియ్యవలసియున్నదనిచెప్పెను.
