ఫేలిక్సు ఈ మార్గమునుగూర్చి బాగుగా ఎరిగినవాడై సహస్రాధిపతియైన లూసియ వచ్చినప్పుడు మీ సంగతి నేను విచారించి తెలిసికొందునని చెప్పి విమర్శ నిలుపు చేసెను.

King James Version (KJV): And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of [that] way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
World English Bible (WEB): But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
