అందు చేత పేతురు వచ్చుచుండగా జనులు రోగులను వీధులలోనికి తెచ్చి, వారిలో ఎవనిమీదనైనను అతని నీడయైనను పడవలెనని మంచములమీదను పరుపులమీదను వారిని ఉంచిరి.

King James Version (KJV): Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
World English Bible (WEB): They even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might overshadow some of them.

17ప్రధానయాజకుడును అతనితో కూడ ఉన్నవారందరును, అనగా సద్దూకయ్యుల తెగవారు లేచి మత్సరముతో నిండుకొని
