Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

1. 1तब उन तीनों पुरूषों ने यह देखकर कि अरयूब अपनी दृष्टि में निदष है उसको उत्तर देना छोड़ दिया।
2. 2और बूजी बारकेल का पुत्रा एलीहू जो राम के कुल का था, उसका क्रोध भड़क उठा। अरयूब पर उसका क्रोध इसलिये भड़क उठा, कि उस ने परमेश्वर को नहीं, अपने ही को निदष ठहराया।
3. 3फिर अरयूब के तीनों मित्रों के विरूद्ध भी उसका क्रोध इस कारण भड़का, कि वे अरयूब को उत्तर न दे सके, तौभी उसको दोषी ठहराया।
4. 4एलीहू तो अपने को उन से छोटा जानकर अरयूब की बातों के अन्त की बाट जोहता रहा।
