36వారు త్రోవలో వెళ్లుచుండగా నీళ్లున్న యొక చోటికి వచ్చినప్పుడు నపుంసకుడుఇదిగో నీళ్లు; నాకు బాప్తిస్మ మిచ్చుటకు ఆటంకమేమని అడిగి రథము నిలుపుమని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.
37ఫిలిప్పు నపుంసకుడు ఇద్దరును నీళ్లలోనికి దిగిరి.
38అంతట ఫిలిప్పు అతనికి బాప్తిస్మ మిచ్చెను.
39వారు నీళ్లలోనుండి వెడలి వచ్చినప్పుడు ప్రభువు ఆత్మ ఫిలిప్పును కొనిపోయెను, నపుంసకుడు సంతోషించుచు తన త్రోవను వెళ్లెను; అతడు ఫిలిప్పును మరి యెన్నడును చూడలేదు.
40అయితే ఫిలిప్పు అజోతులో కనబడెను. అక్కడనుండి కైసరయకు వచ్చువరకు అతడు పట్టణము లన్నిటిలో సంచరించుచు సువార్త ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చెను.
