ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಎಲೀಹು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
ಓ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ತಿಳಿದವರೇ ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.
Hear my words, O ye wise [men;] and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿ ರುಚಿನೋಡುವಂತೆ, ಕಿವಿಯು ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದೇನೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ನಾವೇ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.
Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what [is] good.
ಯೋಬನು--ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀ ರ್ಪನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡಲೋ? ದ್ರೋಹವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಗಾಯವು ಮಾಯದಂಥದ್ದೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
Should I lie against my right? my wound [is] incurable without transgression.
ಯೋಬನಂತೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಪುರುಷನು ಯಾರು?
What man [is] like Job, [who] drinketh up scorning like water?
ಅವನು ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡು ವವರ ಸಹವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ, ದುಷ್ಟ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
ಅವನು--ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆನಂದಿಸುವದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗ ವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರೇ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವೂ ಸರ್ವ ಶಕ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವೂ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, [that he should do] wickedness; and [from] the Almighty, [that he should commit] iniquity.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಮುಯ್ಯಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to [his] ways.
ಹೌದು, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕುಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
ಯಾವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ?
Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
ಆತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟು, ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನೂ ಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರೆ;
If he set his heart upon man, [if] he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
ಶರೀರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗು ವವು. ಮತ್ತು ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೂಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗುವನು.
All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು.
If now [thou hast] understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವ ವನು ಆಳುವನೋ? ಘನವಾದ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ?
Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನೆಂದೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ಬಲಹೀನರೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳುವದುಂಟೋ?
[Is it fit] to say to a king, [Thou art] wicked? [and] to princes, [Ye are] ungodly?
ಆತನು ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ನೋಡು ವನೋ? ಧನಿಕನನ್ನು ಬಡವನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಂದು ಲಕ್ಷಿ ಸುವನೋ? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಆತನ ಕೈ ಕೆಲಸ ವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
[How much less to him] that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all [are] the work of his hands.
ಅವರು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮಧ್ಯ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡು ಗತಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳು ಕೈ ಸೋಕದೆ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
ಆತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವನ ಹೋಗೋಣಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For his eyes [are] upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
ದುಷ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಅಡಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
[There is] no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗಮನವಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
For he will not lay upon man more [than right;] that he should enter into judgment with God.
ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ.
He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth [them] in the night, so that they are destroyed.
ಅವರು ದುಷ್ಟರೆಂದು ಬೇರೆಯವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
ಅವರು ಆತನಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
ಹೀಗೆ ಬಡವರ ಕೂಗು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಆತನು ಬಾಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
ಆತನು ಶಾಂತ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಯಾವನು ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡುವನು? ಆತನು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವವನು ಯಾರು? ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಸರಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರದ ವರಿಗಾದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ.
When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth [his] face, who then can behold him? whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:
ಹೀಗೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉರು ಲಾಗದಂತೆ ಕಪಟಿಯು ಆಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne [chastisement], I will not offend [any more:]
ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸು; ನಾನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಮಾಡೆನು.
[That which] I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇರ ಬೇಕೋ? ನೀನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರೂ ಆದು ಕೊಂಡರೂ ಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುವನು ನಾನಲ್ಲ.
[Should it be] according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವರು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿ, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿ.
Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
ಯೋಬನು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವು ಗಳಲ್ಲ.
Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words [were] without wisdom.
ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೋಬನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನು ಕಡೇ ವರೆಗೆ ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆ.ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
My desire [is that] Job may be tried unto the end because of [his] answers for wicked men.
ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth [his hands] among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
